It all started in a small 30 metres square lockup off Richmond Road, in Dublin’s Northside.

Armed with a 2kg per batch roaster, a couple of sacks of green coffee, and an ambition to constantly learn and improve on what we do.

We have since grown to a small team of dedicated roasters, tasters & dispatchers. We’ve been lucky to meet and work with some incredible people along the way - from coffee farmers to home brewers, and hospitality folk we are proud to have as wholesale partners!

 
 

 

What gets us out of bed in the morning

  • We source the best coffees we can find from importers and growers we trust. From farms of less than 10 acres, to smallholder cooperatives, often generations of families have been working the same land.

    Our offering changes seasonally with each country's harvest cycle. Buying green coffee in its peak time of year means we can roast it for you when it’s at its vibrant, full-flavoured best.

  • We are committed to being open about our supply chain, so you can be assured that it was sourced in a responsible way. This starts with paying a fair price and growing long-term, traceable, direct trade relationships with the people that we work with.

  • This is the beautiful alchemy of craft and science! The balance of heat and airflow, in a machine whose design has barely changed in over a century, is a process that captivates us to this day.

    Each new coffee we roast needs to be handled differently, with careful management of the burner, meticulous logging of the roast, and non-stop tasting of the final product before we pack it up and ship it to you.
